The leadership team at Beacon Church consists of four elders. You can find out more about each of them and their families by clicking on the tabs below.
Tom has been leading the eldership team at Beacon Church since 2010. Tom and Wyn have been in full time Christian ministry for 14 years, and on staff at Beacon Church since September 2007. They have two children, Matt, who is married to Lisa and a daughter Jo. Tom is passionate about seeing an Acts 2 church truly represented within the Borough of Runnymede and beyond. Tom’s interests/hobbies are: most sports, reading, spending time with Wyn.
Andrew led the eldership team at Beacon Church from 1994 through to 2010. From 2010 he has split his time between serving Beacon Church and serving other churches in the Newfrontiers network. He's married to Elspeth who works in accountancy. They have two grown up daughters who live away from home. Andrew has a passion for exploring and communicating about the Bible. He is excited about the big picture of what God is doing in the earth. He loves being creative with words and images. He enjoys Elspeth, food, music, films, mountains, politics, books and shopping.
Cornelis writes: "I am married to Jean and we were founder members of the church. The Lord has blessed us with six children, all of whom are active in serving the Lord at home and overseas. For forty five years I ran my own wholesale nursery business, now in retirement I oversee the church's Debtscape money advice service and have taken up vegetable growing, a new challenge which I enjoy. I have had a longstanding interest in supporting the "suffering church" and visited Eastern Europe in the 80's. Currently this interest is focused in particular on the lands in the "10-40 window"."
Originally from Amritsar, North India, Pradeep came to know the Lord Jesus during an Alpha Course at Beacon Church, Chertsey in 1997. Pradeep is a Chartered Accountant running his own company based in Ealing as well as three Children's Homes for the disadvantaged in the Midlands. He and his wife Kavitha, a part time GP, have two sons and a daughter in their teens. Pradeep is a bit of a 'business junky' who enjoys mentoring men in business and in church. He often says he is nuts about his family, food, bhangra and especially Jesus!
PLUS there are many other people of faith serving all across the church and out into the community that it would take a whole website to tell you about all those heroes!
