Beacon Church is a vibrant community with many different ways of getting involved...Some of the groups have their own web pages in this area of the site - see the menu bar to the left Others are featured in this summary below: Active retired - Something ElseA group of "young retireds" who get together about once a month for outings to the theatre, places of interest, walks or local events. Senior citizens - Welcome GroupWelcome Group is for older folk and takes place on the second Thursday of each month at 2pm to enjoy speakers on a variety of interesting subjects. The venue changes between Chertsey and Thorpe. There are occasional outings as well! Football TeamBeacon Church has a thriving football team that plays in the Southern Area Christian League.
